Children and pets were made for each other. They stir the imagination of the young and those of us who are young at heart.
They are the eyes that can see above the clouds, our other ears that can hear above the winds, and the part of us that can reach beyond the sea.
They make us laugh, listen to our deepest secrets, heal our human hurts, dry our tears and protect us against the dark and unknown things. Never judging, always giving, asking nothing in return.
Friendship, love, fidelity, perseverance, responsibility and even death, this is what they teach us, if only we listen.
No symphony orchestra ever played music like a child laughing with their pet. They are our companions and friends through life’s journey.
