Caffè Mici Amici
“The cat café is a combination of coffee + cat..and chat.” The attraction of the cat café is that they have the calming input of the domestic cat. They provide a homely feel to the place. The café is more organic and less scientific and commercial. People need that kind of feeling which is why the domestic cat is very popular. Many people have told us they would love to have a cat. But often, difficult circumstances – finances, family breakup, disabilities, the allergies that some folks suffer, a difficult location to keep a cat in – mean that even those who love cats cannot keep one. This is one of the reasons for opening the Feline Therapy lounge. There, cat-lovers can enjoy the company of our cats in comfortable surroundings.
Cat welfare is really…really important to us. We want to give a second chance to as may shelter kitties and cats as possible to finder their forever home, especially older cats who are often overlooked. We’ll work closely with the department of Animal Welfare and Protection and animal shelters to help find homes for as many cats as possible as well as ensure that our kitties are will cared for and happy. A happy cat is a satisified cat.
